Will I need to encapsulate my printing anymore?

No. Our material eliminates the need for encapsulation.

How long will the image last when used outside?

The longevity of the image depends on the concentration of UV in the light it is exposed to. Direct sunlight is worst case and under these circumstances it should be expected that the image will fade within six months of direct exposure.

An A3 sheet of 195 micron under tension will support a weight of 150kgs.

Does the material meet any toy safety or food regulations?

The material is approved to EN 71-3: 1994 Safety of Toys. Although it is not approved for direct contact with food, it can be suitable as a basis for digitally printed tags and labels, mounted in suitable frames to promote or describe foot items.

Can the material be recycled?

It can be recycled as category 7 plastics for disposal, subject to local regulations and availability. It can be incinerated by licensed authorities and does not give off toxic chemicals in the process.

Will the material burn?

The material can be combusted only by remaining in constant contact with a flame. If the source is stationery, the material will shrink away and self-extinguish. Material remaining in contact with a flame can continue to burn slowly.
